Hello!

Eleanor McHugh opens the new season of our NewStore tech talks in 2017. We’re looking forward to seeing you all. Drinks & pizza will be provided.

Talk description:

An introduction to writing secured network applications with Google Go. We’ll start with the basics of serving HTTP in Go and then work our way down the protocol stack to TCP/IP and UDP, along the way using TLS, RSA and AES encryption to secure our connections.

About Eleanor McHugh:

London-based hacker Ellie has a passion for the esoteric corners of programming stretching back to her misspent teenage years. During the course of her career she’s worked on mission critical systems ranging from avionics to banking security and digital trust arbitration. Ellie’s the author of A Go Developer’s Notebook and talks on low-level, network and security programming in Ruby & Go.
