„Smartup Accelerator” and the University of Latvia invites to the discussion „Clean, shared, autonomous – future of mobility?
During the event insights into topics related to existing and future mobility issues will be introduced. The impact of EU directives on future mobility and the circular economy will be introduced by Economy Advisor of the European Commission in Riga Mārtiņš Zemītis.
University of Latvia researcher and head of NGO “Zaļā brīvība” (Green freedom) Jānis Brizga will present the transportation impact on the environment. Founder of a car-sharing company “Carguru” Vladimirs Reskājs will tell about good practice of sharing economy based business. Managing partner of “Contrarian Ventures” Rokas Pečiulaitis will tell about the future of mobility from the investor’s perspective.
Deputy Director at Ministry of Economics Evita Feldberga, present the initiatives of the Ministry of Economics for smart city ecosystem development. GIS Specialist-expert Evelīna Budiloviča from Urban development administration of Riga City Council will introduce actions related to mobility in Riga Municipality.
Neils Kalniņš, Business Development at Electronic Communications Office of Latvia, will tell about 5G technology and opportunities it brings.
“Smartup Accelerator” team in Riga will introduce “competition launch 2019” for start-ups offering solutions related to “smart mobility”.
