FINTECH WEEK INSPIRES DIALOGUE ON THE FUTURE OF FINANCE
A week in Germany’s northern metropolis, rich with the best in fintech thought and innovation: Started in 2016, Fintech Week is the annual event that brings together aspiring newcomers, fintech professionals, and established players from banking and insurance to discuss the future of finance. From October 15 to 20, 2018, visitors from Germany and beyond will meet in more than 20 different set-ups, including conferences, barcamps, expert panels, guided feedback sessions, meet ups, and other networking settings.
Fintech Week is known for its unique approach to connecting stakeholders from the fintech, banking, and insurance industries. Thus, the week appeals to a wide range of stakeholders, including fintech beginners and experts, freelancers and business owners, first-time founders, and bank executives.
A small selection of topics throughout the week: big data and data sensitivity, discovering new talents in the fintech industry, sustainability/future viability of decentralized regional bank structures in the digital age, finding a niche in the face of big players such as Amazon.
Amongst the event organizers are conference specialist Euroforum, the Frankfurt School of Finance as well as local groups such as Fintech Meetup or Fintech Lounge. Furthermore, the team of Fintech Week is hosting the conference FinForward with the goal of discussing the most important future trends of the digital finance industry with a practical approach, all in one day.
