The demand for mobility is growing. In order to meet the ever-increasing demand, research is going on in all directions. One dimension that has been left out of urban traffic so far could become one of the mobility trends of the future: air taxis. Experts are sure: they will come.

What potentials and risks this development entails, how it could affect our locomotion, and when it is actually realistic that we are in airline taxis, we would like to discuss in the XU Experience Lab, the place that makes digitization tangible ,

There are already some start-ups that have successfully tested prototype flying taxis. These include Lilium from Munich and the Bruchsal company Velocopter. What is new is that the major automotive groups are also dedicating themselves to this topic through investments and research so as not to lose touch.

As part of the new event format of DB Digital, Martin Johann Fröhlich (Head of New Horizons Deutsche Bahn AG) will join forces with the experts Thomas Jarzombek (Federal Government Coordinator for Aerospace, Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy), Dr. Ing. Tassilo Wanner (Head of Public Affairs Lilium), Fabien Nestmann (Head of Global Public Affairs Velocopter) and Manuel Gerres (Managing Director of Deutsche Bahn Digital Ventures GmbH & Head of New Digital Business Deutsche Bahn AG) discussed the most important questions in a discussion panel Dedicate traffic of the future. What role does politics play here? What has to happen so that taxis are a reality for us? We want to answer these and many other questions with our guests.

Der Platz im XU Experience Lab ist begrenzt. Für Drinks, Snacks und musikalische Untermalung ist gesorgt. Kostenlose Tickets können über Eventbrite bestellt werden.
