HOW TO SKYROCKET | March 6 | Berlin

An Open Lecture by Florian Heinemann, founding partner of the Operational VC Project A Ventures and former managing director of Rocket Internet, AbeBooks/JustBooks & antibodies online.

Twice a month GTEC brings you Open Lectures. Remarkable individuals sharing their entrepreneurship insights.

At GTEC we believe that an understanding of entrepreneurship needs to become mainstream. That’s why Open Lectures will not be about business models and marketing hacks but about people. We’re inviting individuals who have shaped entrepreneurship, were shaped by it and have a story to tell.

For the next Open Lecture we host the seasoned entrepreneur and serial investor Florian Heinemann.

He is a founding partner of Early Stage VC Project A in Berlin, and responsible for marketing, CRM and business intelligence.

Prior to his current position, Florian was Managing Director at Rocket Internet, where he was instrumental in building Zalando, Global Fashion Group and eDarling/Affinitas from 2007 to 2012.

Florian worked as a co-founder/managing director of JustBooks/AbeBooks and co-founder of the online marketplace antibodies-online.com and has participated in nearly 100 start-ups as an investor and business angel. Only a small selection of the numerous young companies are Trivago, Audibene, Zalando, Home24, CityDeal and Affinitas/eDarling and ClassPass.

In addition, he was a member of several committees, e.g. Internet stores and About You.

Florian holds a PhD in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship from RWTH Aachen University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from WHU Koblenz. He passed on his knowledge as a guest researcher at the Wharton School and as a fellow of the Deutsche Bundesstiftung für Verdienste.
