Maker Faire – A festival of invention, creativity and resourcefulness

The Greatest Show (& Tell) on Earth is coming to Berlin for the third time in 2017. This year, over 900 Makers at more than 200 booths will present to an expected audience of 20,000 visitors.
Discover what Maker Faire has to offer: For example the fascinating Hand of Man, created by the American Robotic Artist Christian Ristow. The Hand Of Man is an interactive sculpture like no other: a gigantic, hydraulic, interactive robotic sculptural replica of a human hand – strong enough to pick up and subsequently smash a car. The sculpture weighed 7 tons and stretched 26 feet long. The small intelligent aliens R2D2 will be there, too. As well as the Lego-Car for the kids to build on or the Robocup, where robots play soccer. DIY at its best!

You’re invited to join in, touch, and learn: Try (almost) everything for yourself, take part in workshops for example in Bio-Hacking and learn how to solder, code or sew. Get your tickets for the festival for everyone from 0–99 years in our online ticket store. Maker Faire takes place at STATION Berlin in Berlin (Kreuzberg district) right next to Gleisdreieck subway station. June 10-11 : 10 am – 6 pm maker-faire.de/berlin/
