Startup-Week Düsseldorf | April 5 – 12 | Düsseldorf
What is it all about?
About ideas. About innovations. About presence. About advantage. About knowledge. About contacts. In short, about your company.
At the Startup Week Düsseldorf, visionaries, fighters and self-starters meet the innovative companies, services and products of the future. A direct and deep insight into the Düsseldorf startup scene. Why not take this opportunity to learn from the experts in a wide range of industries and working areas.
From 5 – 12 April, Düsseldorf will once again become a magnet for all startups and those interested in launching a startup. The 4th Startup Week Düsseldorf offers comprehensive knowledge in a compact form at 128 events including topics such as business models, strategy, marketing, finance, law, attracting investors, funding, technology and internationalisation.
The Startup Week is an event organised by the Startup Unit of the Office of Economic Development, Düsseldorf. Once again, the organisers have compiled a very comprehensive programme. Over 100 organisers offer seminars, workshops, pitch and networking events at which the startup entrepreneurs and those interested in launching a startup can get together and network with representatives from large companies, investors, consultants and mentors.
Foreign startups are becoming increasingly interested in Düsseldorf as a B2B location for entry into the German market. To make your visit to the Startup Week easier, all the English-speaking events have been timetabled to take place together on Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 April.
The programme can be downloaded at www.startupwoche-dus.de

Since the beginning of the startup initiative in 2015, the number of startups has risen from 135 to 350 in 2018 and 2,600 jobs have been created as a result. To this, you need to add the startup alumni, i.e. former startups that have been successfully operating on the market for more than 10 years and are therefore not included in the statistics recorded since 2015, which include companies such as trivago, auxmoney and secusmart. If you count these in, over 4,800 people are employed in startups in Düsseldorf.
