Workshop! GDPR Roadmap

Workshop! GDPR Roadmap | March 1 | Berlin
Hands-on workshop to create a GDPR compliance roadmap for your organisation
This workshop is for B2C companies who are collecting and processing data directly from their customers, i.e. data controllers under the GDPR.
Startups and young organisations struggle with compliance because of lack of resources. On one hand, compliance is time consuming, and on the other hand, it is expensive. 90% of companies updated their privacy policies and terms of services, yet, they postponed investment of resources into basic compliance for later. This is a huge risk.
The 3 priorities of the European data protection authorities in a GDPR audit are:
1. Data Inventory: Can you show what data you collect, where it is stored, how it is used and secured?
2. Gap Analysis: Have you done an initial assessment to compare existing internal practices with the requirements of GDPR?
3. Compliance Plan: Do you know what the steps are for your organisation to comply?
Design IT Legal created this interactive workshop to address the key risk areas to help young businesses and organisations. In just three hours, participants will learn how to create data inventory, conduct gap analysis and work out a step-by-step plan for compliance that can be implemented right away.
With extensive legal and technical expertise, Design IT Legal aims to empower organisations by offering simple, user-friendly and comprehensive advice on GDPR and privacy related standards and regulations.
Notes and Reminders
This workshop is designed specifically for data controllers under the GDPR: organisations, who collect and process personal data directly from users (for example, B2C services, mobile apps, etc.). Details are coming soon for a workshop tailored for data processors (organisations that processes data provided by the data controller).
Workshop language: English
This is an interactive workshop and does not replace legal advice.
